RG Kar Case: The CBI officials have got a new clue related to the alleged financial irregularities at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, where a trainee doctor was raped and murdered on August 9. The agency suspected that former principal Sandip Ghosh, through his house staff Ashish Pandey, used to accept cash by leaking question papers to medical students.

Ashish Pandey has been booked by the CBI in the case of financial irregularities, along with Sandip Ghosh, who is under scanner in both the cases of financial irregularities and the brutal rape and murder of the junior doctor. The officials have information regarding the dependence of Ghosh on Pandey's recommendation to decide on the examination success of the medical students, as per the sources cited by jagran.com.
