Sealdah to Banaras Amrit Bharat Express Train: Indian Railways is preparing to introduce the Amrit Bharat Express, a state-of-the-art train designed for affordable, safe, and long-distance travel. This service aims to offer a travel experience similar to the Vande Bharat Express but is specifically intended to provide high-quality service at budget-friendly prices for passengers from lower and lower-middle-income groups.
The Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express will be managed and operated by the Eastern Railway (ER) zone. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to flag it off this month.
Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express: Check Train Number, Route
The Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express will operate under train number 22587, while the return service, Banaras-Sealdah, will be designated as train number 22588. The train will pass through Dankuni as part of its route.

Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express: Check Stops
The Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express (train numbers 22587/22588) will make stops at six key stations: Durgapur, Asansol, Madhupur, Jasidih, Patna, and Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya.

Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express: Check Frequency, Timetable
The Sealdah-Banaras Amrit Bharat Express will run three times a week. Train number 22587 will depart from Sealdah on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. The return train, number 22588, will depart from Banaras on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. The train will consist of 16 coaches.
