Naidunia Correspondent, Guna | Robbers targeted the Jodhpur-Bhopal train at Ruthiyai Railway Station in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday night. According to victims, as soon as the train stopped at the outer station, some miscreants began looting. They snatched chains and mangalsutras from women's necks. The goons also grabbed bags and other belongings from the passengers on the train.

Victims File Case At Guna GRP

Following a complaint, the Guna GRP has registered a case and initiated an investigation. According to officials, the miscreants took advantage of the train's halt at the outer. The Jodhpur-Bhopal train was stopped at Ruthiyai Railway Station's outer halt due to a signal failure. Miscreants, who were already waiting in ambush, took advantage of the train's halt and committed the crime.

Harbobai, 45, a resident of Vidisha, who was travelling on seat number 73 in coach S-5, had her earring snatched by a miscreant through the window. They snatched the gold mangalsutra from Mamta Mewara, 35, a resident of Bhopal, who was sleeping on seat number 1 in coach S-6. Robbers snatched the gold chain from the neck of Aveda, 41, who was travelling from Chhabra, Rajasthan, to Bhopal on seat number 17. Miscreants grabbed the bag of Rahul, 27, a resident of Jodhpur, from seat number 79 in coach S-5, which contained clothes and important documents. Rahul said he was going to appear for the Madhya Pradesh Police Band recruitment exam. His marksheet was also gone along with the bag.

GRP Launches A Hunt To Catch Robbers

Shripal Bhadoria, Station House Officer, GRP, Guna and an FIR has been registered based on the complainant's complaint and a search operation was launched to catch the robbers. The unidentified miscreants are being traced, he added.
