Shakeel Ahmad News: Former Congress MP Shakeel Ahmad made a sensational claim that his life is in danger, following criticism to grand old party leader Rahul Gandhi. On Monday, Ahmed said he received information about the attack on him secretly from his former colleagues in Congress.

Ahmad, who has been a three-time MLA and two-time MP from Bihar, recently called Gandhi a 'coward', which has put him in the spotlight. Now, he fears for his life.

Ahmad Alleges Attack Plan

Sharing a post on the social media platform X, Ahmad said the national leadership of the Congress has ordered an attack on him. This attack could be carried out at his residence in Patna or Madhubani. He said this is strictly against the principles of democracy.

Ex-Congress Leader Shares WhatsApp Chat

In another post on X, Ahmad shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat, in which a person is discussing a protest against Ahmed for using abusive language about Rahul Gandhi.

Sharing this chat, he wrote, "Now my information has been proven absolutely correct. Many thanks to my old friends in Congress. There's a saying in Bihar that 'old friends are the ones who come to your help'. Is this happening without Rahul ji's orders?"

Controversy Escalates Over Shakeel's Statement

According to Ahmad, he has been receiving continuous calls from several Congress colleagues informing him that Congress workers have received orders to attack him. Shakeel questioned whether Gandhi was behind this. Former Congress leader said even if his statement about Gandhi was wrong, he has every right to express his views, and he has done nothing wrong.

What Is The Entire Row?

The former MP, on Saturday, created a huge row after calling Gandhi a cowardly and insecure leader, alleging that he is only promoting young leaders who praise and flatter him within the party. He claimed that there is no internal democracy in the Congress. He criticised Gandhi, calling him dictatorial and undemocratic, and said that he does not listen to senior Congress colleagues and believes that the party cannot fall below second place due to its national presence.
