Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Murder: In the killing of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the family of one of the two men involved in the killing said that hey have had no contact with him for the past few weeks. Gogamedia was shot on Tuesday at his residence in Jaipur. Father of Nitin Fauji said that my son had gone to get his car repaired but there has been no contact with him since that day.
"On November 9, my son had gone to get his car repaired in Mahendergarh. The same day he got his car repaired, but there has been no contact with him since that day," the father of Nitin Fauji told reporters in Haryana's Mahendergarh when asked that his son's name has figured in the Jaipur incident as quoted by news agency PTI.
Speaking to reporters, one of Nitin's classmates in Mahendergarh said that he was shocked and could not believe when he learned about the incident from the media.
"He (Nitin) was very good in studies and we were classmates in school...later he decided to join the Army," the classmate said.
"Nitin who got married a year ago was good at studies. Don't know who brainwashed him. We still don't believe after his name emerged in the case," he said.
Some villagers in Mahendergarh said that they still could not believe that Nitin could carry out such an act. In a big breakthrough in the murder case, Rajasthan Police has identified two shooters involved in the killing. The two assaliants have been identified as Rohit Rathore Makrana and Nitin Fauji, said Rajasthan Police, adding that Nitin Fauji is a resident of Mahendragarh, Haryana.
The third criminal, Naveen Shekhawat, who was also part of the crime, was killed at Gogamedi's residence during the exchange of fire and one of Gogamedi's security guards was also injured.
