Railway News: The Northeast Frontier Railway on Saturday announced that the frequency of several trains will be increased in the upcoming weeks to accommodate the surge in passengers. The authority stated that the decision was taken after receiving multiple requests from the passengers to increase the number of trains or the frequency of the currently operating trains. The railway had earlier informed that there is a significant surge in passengers due to the summer vacation, adding that while many passengers travel to cities to spend the vacation, others choose to visit their hometowns.
While providing details, the railway stated that the frequency and services of train number 07325/07326 (SSS Hubli Junction-Katihar-SSS Hubli Junction) and train number 06559/06560 (SMVT Bengaluru-Narangi-SMVT Bengaluru) will be increased in the upcoming few weeks. It further stated that train number 07325 (SSS Hubli Junction-Katihar) Summer Special will leave SSS Hubli Junction every Wednesday from May 28 to June 18 at 3.15 am and reach Katihar on the third day at 2.00 am.
It also informed that train number 07326 (Katihar-SSS Hubli Junction) Summer Special will depart from Katihar every Saturday from May 31 to June 21 at 2.30 am and will arrive at SSS Hubli Junction at 10.50 am on the third day. Apart from this, train number 06559 (SMVT Bengaluru - Narangi) Summer Special will leave SMVT Bengaluru every Tuesday from May 27 to June 24 at 11.40 am and will arrive in Narangi at 05.00 am on the fourth day.

The advisory added that train number 06560 (Narangi-SMVT Bengaluru) Summer Special will depart from Narangi every Saturday from May 31 to June 28 at 5.30 pm and will arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 09.45 am on the third day. The railway has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
