A man has been detained by police after 26 child pornography videos were discovered uploaded to his Instagram account. Authorities have filed a First Information Report (FIR) againstamed the man Hrithik Shukla, who is currently under investigation in connection with the disturbing content.
The case came to light following a report from the Union Home Ministry's cyber portal, which flagged the videos through its cyber tipline. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the mobile number linked to Shukla’s Instagram account traced back to a resident of a village under the jurisdiction of the Sehramau North police station area.
The accused was arrested on Friday, with charges filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Information Technology Act. Local authorities have confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway.

According to the FIR, the cyber crime headquarters in Lucknow had forwarded the tipline report, which led investigators to Shukla. The videos were found to have been uploaded on August 28. Digital evidence has already been collected and secured, officials confirmed.
Accused Denies Charges
Inspector Sanjay Singh reported that Hrithik Shukla was taken into custody on Saturday. However, the accused has denied uploading the videos in question.
