Light Rain Expected In Lucknow; Monsoon Likely To Regain Strength
Lucknow and its neighbouring districts are expected to experience partly cloudy skies on Thursday, accompanied by light rain that may offer a slight respite from rising temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall over the past three to four days was driven by a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal.
As this system moves towards central India and aligns near its normal position, light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue in isolated areas between July 23 and 25. Monsoon activity is then expected to pick up again from July 26, bringing heavier rainfall back to the state.
Delhi-NCR Weather Update
Heavy rain lashed the national capital and adjoining NCR cities, including Noida and Ghaziabad, on Wednesday, bringing much-needed relief from days of scorching heat.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is expected to see more showers accompanied by generally cloudy skies over the next few days. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will settle between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius.
While no official weather alerts have been issued, residents are advised to take necessary precautions, stay updated on official forecasts, and plan outdoor activities accordingly.
