Three individuals from Himachal Pradesh were arrested after a huge amount of explosives was confiscated in Dehradun during a police check. During a routine check by the Tyuni police, an Alto car was intercepted, and authorities discovered 5 boxes of dynamite weighing a total of 125 kg inside the vehicle, Jagran.com reported. The occupants, Rinku, Rohit, and Sunil, were unable to produce the necessary documents for transporting the explosive material.
Consequently, the Tyuni police registered FIR No. 19/2025 under Section 3/7 of the Explosives Act 1884 against the trio. The case is currently under investigation.

According to SSP Ajay Singh, the accused planned to use the explosives at various places.
A checking campaign was ordered across Uttarakhand-UP border. Under this, 3 people in a car were checked and we found 125 Kg of explosive material and 2 packets of detonator... They are residents of Himachal Pradesh. According to them, they were taking this for road construction purposes secretly... When inquired, it was known that they were about to use them at various places... The 3 have been arrested under relevant sections of BNS... Our teams have been deployed for verification of the information..." Singh added.

Arrested individuals hail from different districts of Himachal Pradesh. They are identified as:
- 37-year-old Rinku is the son of Panu Ram, a resident of Balang village under the Theog police station in Shimla.
- Another accused, Bishan Singh, is aged 19 and a resident of Ronahat village in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh.
- Sunil, son of Kewal Ram, hails from Sadoli village in Shimla, is 38 years old.
Among the seized materials are 5 boxes of explosives (dynamite) weighing about 125 kg, 2 boxes of caps (detonators), and 1 roll of red wire.
