Social Media Expresses Outrage

As soon as the video surfaced, it drew widespread anger online. Users condemned the remarks as disgusting and reflective of a hateful mindset towards women. The controversy has escalated into a political storm, with opposition parties in Bihar slamming the BJP and its allies.

RJD Hits Out at BJP-JD(U)

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) posted the video on social media, accusing the ruling parties of exposing their true attitude towards Bihar’s women. The party demanded that the Prime Minister and Home Minister clarify the government’s stand on the issue.

RJD chief spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav said the statement reveals the BJP’s view of Bihar and its women. He criticised the silence of the Bihar BJP, JD(U) and other NDA leaders, saying their lack of response speaks volumes.

RJD noted that social media is abuzz with the issue, with many pointing out that if an ordinary person had made such a remark, action would have been swift. But since the speaker is connected to a ruling party figure, no concrete steps have been taken so far.

Users are also questioning the BJP’s silence despite its campaigns like ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and women empowerment slogans.
