Tamta, who never studied science during his school days, eventually developed a passion for motor vehicles. His passion for automobiles led him to design and create multiple innovations. He developed several inventions based on information from the internet. However, his personal air vehicle, Hapida Skynex, is garnering the most attention at present. With the successful prototype test, Ravi's ambitious project has reached a significant milestone.
Turned Dreams Into Reality
In 2015, Ravi Tamta dreamt of building his own flying car. A decade later, that vision has taken shape through his venture, Hapida Sky Private Limited. Capable of soaring through the skies like a helicopter, the vehicle can reach speeds of up to 200 km/h.
Tamta procured essential components from China, sourced the engine from Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, and assembled the prototype right at home. He now plans to secure a patent for his creation and approach the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for operational approvals.
