Uttarakhand Weather: Continuous rainfall since morning has led to waterlogging and disruptions across Dehradun and several hill districts of Uttarakhand. The city witnessed heavy downpours for over three hours, resulting in rising water levels in rivers and streams, traffic jams and fallen trees across multiple areas.

Dehradun Police and emergency teams are on high alert. Loudspeakers are being used to warn residents, especially those living near the Rispana and Bindal rivers, to stay away from riverbanks and move to safer locations. These precautions are being taken amid concerns that the water levels may rise further due to continued rain.

A tree fell near the Jakhan Chowki crossing, causing traffic delays, while another incident involved a short circuit near the police line. In another case, a tree collapsed near the ITBP border gate, completely blocking the road. Teams were deployed quickly to restore normalcy.
