Vande Bharat Express Update: Indian Railways is all set to roll out four new Vande Bharat Express trains on November 8 across different states, offering citizens faster, more convenient, and comfortable travel through world-class railway services. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi to flag off the four trains on November 8 at around 8:15 AM.
The new Vande Bharat Express trains will operate on the following routes: Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru. They are expected to significantly reduce travel time between major destinations.
Vande Bharat Express: Four New Trains to Be Introduced | Check Details
1. Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express: The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will provide direct connectivity on this route and save approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to the current special trains. It will connect some of India’s most revered religious and cultural destinations, including Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Chitrakoot.
2. Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express: The Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat will complete the journey in around 7 hours and 45 minutes, saving nearly one hour of travel time. This train will greatly benefit passengers from Lucknow, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Bijnor, and Saharanpur, while also improving access to the holy city of Haridwar via Roorkee.
3. Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat Express: The Firozpur-Delhi Vande Bharat will be the fastest train on this route, completing the journey in just 6 hours and 40 minutes. The train will strengthen connectivity between the national capital and key cities in Punjab, including Bathinda and Patiala.
4. Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: The Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat will reduce travel time by over two hours, completing the journey in 8 hours and 40 minutes. It will connect major IT and commercial hubs, offering professionals, students, and tourists a faster and more comfortable travel option. This train will enhance connectivity across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
