Weather Alert: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday. Parts of the national capital witnessed downpour on Monday, causing waterlogging at several places. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan today. As per IMD, moderate rain with increased humidity is expected in Delhi-NCR region over the next three days.

UP Weather

A warning for torrential rain has been issued in many districts of Uttar Pradesh for Tuesday. Heavy rain is expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Bijnor.

Bihar Weather

The IMD has issued rain and thunderstorm warnings for Patna, East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Siwan, Saran, Begusarai, and Nalanda.

Madhya Pradesh Weather

Heavy rain is expected in many districts of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Sagar, Vidisha, and Raisen.

Himachal And Uttarakhand Weather

A rain warning has been issued in five districts of Himachal Pradesh for Tuesday. There are chances of rain in Shimla, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu, and Lahaul Spiti. Apart from this, heavy rain alerts have been issued in Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Nainital, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar of Uttarakhand.

Rajasthan Weather

The Meteorological Department has informed that there may be heavy rain with strong winds in Bharatpur, Karauli, Dholpur, Jhalawar on Tuesday. Heavy rain in Rajasthan has led to flood-like conditions in many districts, including Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Jhalawar, Kota, Pali and Sirohi, a MeT department official said.

In view of this, the administration declared a holiday for schools in 11 districts on July 29. Some districts like Jhalawar have extended the holidays. These include Jhalawar, Kota, Chittorgarh, Tonk, Bhilwara, Baran, Dungarpur, Dholpur, Salumber, Banswara, and Ajmer.
