Weather News: As December draws to a close, the weather will see some changes in its pattern. There have been warnings of heavy fog and light rain in numerous states. On December 23 and 24, the Meteorological Department warned that there may be light rain and heavy fog in various districts of UP.
The cold is predicted to get worse in Delhi, the capital, though, because there was a drizzle on Monday morning. The Meteorological Department reports that rain could cause the maximum temperature to dip by three to four degrees Celsius.
States like Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Haryana can get light rain for seven days, according to IMD estimates.
Weather In Delhi
It is anticipated that Delhi would see a maximum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius today and a minimum of 7 degrees Celsius.
A two-day yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department. There can be a lot of fog in some areas around this period. The Meteorological Department predicts that light rain will fall late Thursday night as a result of another western disturbance that will be active on the evening of December 26. Light rain is also possible on December 27 and 28.

Dense Fog In UP Districts
Balrampur, Bahraich, Lakhimpur, Sitapur, Meerut, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, and the surrounding districts are predicted to have dense fog.
Rain In THESE Districts
Over the next 24 hours, some areas of Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu, and South Odisha may see light rain, according to weather forecasting service Skymet. Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, South Chhattisgarh, and Odisha are all expected to get mild rain at the same time. Certain regions of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana may experience cold-wave conditions.
The Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, South Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Odisha, and North Andhra Pradesh are all under a 24-hour alert of light rain. Delhi, Haryana, and North Rajasthan are likely to have sporadic light rain. The Meteorological Department states that certain areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Muzaffarabad may experience cold wave conditions.
