Weather Update: The IMD has forecast thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by "very heavy rainfall" in Gujarat on July 29 and in Goa and Maharashtra on August 1. Additionally, "heavy rainfall" is likely in Madhya Pradesh on July 31 and August 1, as well as in Chhattisgarh over the next three days.
Moving to the northwest, the IMD has predicted isolated "very heavy rainfall" in Rajasthan on July 29, in West Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh on July 31 and in Uttarakhand on July 31 and August 1. Heavy rainfall has also been forecast for Jammu and Kashmir until August 1, Himachal Pradesh until July 30 and on August 1 and Uttarakhand until July 30. The Haryana and Delhi regions are also expected to witness wet spells until July 31, with heavy downpours predicted for Rajasthan on July 29 and for Uttar Pradesh on July 30 and August 1.

In the southern peninsular region, the IMD has forecast the possibility of "heavy rainfall" in Karnataka on July 29 and in Kerala until July 31. Turning to the east and northeast, the weather department has predicted "very heavy rainfall" at isolated places over Jharkhand on July 3 and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during July 30-August 1. Additionally, isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on July 29.

Meanwhile, Delhi will see light rain in some areas during the afternoon. The Meteorological Department predicts that the maximum temperature in Delhi may decrease by 2 degrees tomorrow. There is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning in some areas. The maximum temperature is expected to drop to 36 degrees, while the minimum temperature might be around 28 degrees. Light rain is expected to continue until July 31.
