1. Methi seeds water
Dr Batra suggests that soluble fibres in fenugreek including glucomannan fibre delay intestinal absorption of ingested sugars and alkaloids such as fenugreek and trigonelline have been demonstrated to possess hypoglycemic action, and 4 hydroxy isoleucine (4-OH Ile) amino acids act on pancreas to release insulin.

2. Giloy Water

Giloy water is another incredibly healthy drink for diabetic patients. According to Dr Batra, one of the alkaloid compounds in giloy is berberine. It is a traditional herbal remedy that human studies have shown reduces blood sugar. Berberine works in a similar way to the diabetes medication metformin.
3. Cinnamon Tea
Cinnamon has beneficial properties that help in lowering blood sugar levels and managing diabetes effectively. Dr Batra states that cinnamon increases glycogen storage by affecting glycogen synthesis activity. The natural agents found in cinnamon serve as insulin to keep the blood glucose level stable.
