People look for foods and beverages that have cooling properties and provide relief from scorching heat. Ayurveda, the ancient medicine system, has numerous herbs that help in combating summer heat. These herbs have excellent cooling properties that help maintain the body temperature and keep the heat at bay. Heat illnesses such as stomach infection, dehydration, heat stroke, sunburn and allergies can be prevented through cooling agents such as ayurvedic herbs.
