Mawlynnong, Meghalaya

Known as ‘Asia’s Cleanest Village’, Mawlynnong boasts an eco-friendly living environment. The evergreen surroundings, rushing streams, fruit orchards and swaying palms offer a breathtaking vacation experience in the heart of Meghalaya. The Nohwet Living Root Bridge is also situated at this place. Mawlynnong is best known for its cleanliness as the waste here is collected in bamboo dustbins and then used as manure.
Halebidu, Karnataka
