Winter Foods Causing Weight Gain

1. Creamy Soups

Creamy soups are comfort foods in winter that provide much-needed warmth and nutrients to our body, but may also make you gain weight. Therefore, it is always beneficial to opt for tomatoes, green vegetables and green broth soups for a healthy body. Avoid putting creams in your soups as these heavy creams may contribute to weight gain.

2. Winter Sweets

Winters are incomplete without sweet dishes such as carrot halwa, immunity-boosting ladoos, chikki and others. As these dishes have high sugar content, you must be vigilant about their consumption. Sugary foods contain empty nutrition that does not make your body attain any nutrients, instead makes you gain weight.
