All Saints’ Day 2023: Prayer

God, I can often forget that those who are saved are saints. No matter what my understanding of the word saint...I want to lift those who are a part of the Christian community and who still walk on this earth. May you give us zeal for our mission to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. May you help me to be an encouragement to my fellow brothers and sisters. When they stumble, help me to be the arms to lift them. When they need encouragement, help me to be the one to offer them solace. Amen.

Halloween is annually celebrated on October 31, on the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallow’s Day. It is known as the spookiest night of the year and is known by different names such as All Saints Eve or All Hallow’s Day. The ancient anecdotes state that throughout the 1920s and 1930s, Halloween evolved into a secular celebration focused on the community, complete with parades and town-wide Halloween parties as the main events.
