New Delhi | Jagran Lifestyle Desk: Goddess Saraswati is one of the important goddesses for Hindus as she is considered the Goddess of knowledge, music, arts, science and technology. So every year on the Panchami Tithi, Magha Shukla Paksha (fifth day during the waxing phase of the Moon in the Hindu month of Magh) Basant Panchami is observed. Also known as Shri Panchami and Saraswati Panchami, devotees, including children, wear yellow attire on this day and worship Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for a prosperous future. As per DrikPanchang.com, Saraswati Puja time should be done during Purvahna Kala while Panchami Tithi is prevailing.
