BTS Members Discoveries
RM
RM aka Kim Namjoon, BTS charismatic leader was inspired by Epik High's "Fly" in sixth grade. He rose to fame as underground rapper "Runch Randa" in 2007. Joining a three-member rap crew led him to Big Hit Entertainment's producer, culminating in a successful 2010 audition, making him the first member of BTS group.
Jhope
Jhope, BTS vibrant dancer and singer was discovered through his passion for dance. A full-time dancer, he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment and was selected. Relocating to Seoul, Jhope's talents expanded to producing, creating a holistic experience for fans. His captivating hooks and choreography now define BTS signature style.
Jin
Kim Seokjin aka Jin, the eldest member of the group took an unconventional path. Initially signing with SM Entertainment, he later auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment as a college student. Despite lacking singing and dancing experience, Jin's determination prevailed. He worked tirelessly to hone his skills, ultimately becoming an integral part of BTS harmony.
Suga
Suga or Min Yoongi was an underground sensation named as "Gloss," who used to produce beats for D Town. His rap skills and production talent led him to Big Hit Entertainment's audition where he finished as runner-up. Despite narrowly missing the mark initially, Suga's persistence paid off, earning him a significant place in the group.

V
Kim Taehyung or V rose from humble beginnings as a farmer's son. Driven by passion, he learned saxophone while showcasing his dedication. Jungkook

Signed by Big Hit Entertainment, Jungkook began as a background dancer before blossoming into a versatile vocalist, rapper and BTS charismatic frontman.
Jimin
Park Jimin, Busan's gifted dancer excelled in school, earning teachers' praise. Encouraged to pursue dance professionally, Jimin moved to Seoul and auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment. His innate talent and fluid movement captivated scouts, securing his spot as BTS final member while completing the septet's iconic lineup.
