Summer is here, and so are our favourite breathable white clothes. The time has already arrived to bring out the white clothes from the wardrobe. White clothes are the most comfortable outfit in the summer season, owing to their light colour and versatility. The white colour of the clothes reflects most of the sun’s heat, thus helping to keep the body temperature cooler as compared to darker colours. Besides, you can easily pair it with jeans or add a colourful scarf or dupatta to make it stylish. However, the problem with them arises when the fresh, breezy white clothes become dull.
As much as people love wearing white clothes in the summer season, keeping them neat and tidy becomes a daunting task. The white clothes absorb sweat, dust and stains easily, thus becoming yellow or dull altogether. If the stains become permanent, then it is difficult for people to ignore them, and hence, they end up discarding the white clothes. We love it when our white clothes remain spotless even during summer, as it adds a classy touch to our style. To maintain the whiteness of the white clothes, here are some tips and tricks that need to be followed.

Tips To Maintain White Clothes In Summer At Home
Wash White Clothes Seperately
Never wash your white clothes with coloured ones. Always wash them separately. Even the light colours can bleed and stain the white clothes, making them look dull or grey. Washing whites separately helps them stay bright and fresh.
Use Of Right Detergent
Opt for a good quality detergent when planning to wash white clothes. Certain detergents have whitening agents that help remove stains and make whites look bright. Do not use too much detergent as it can build up and make clothes look dull over time.
Wash Stains Quickly
Summer season is synonymous with sweat, food spills and dirt stains. Thus, it is important to wash the stains on white clothes as quickly as possible. Use a stain remover or mix baking soda and water together and rub it over the stain before washing. The faster you clean the stain, the easier it will be to remove.

Wash In Warm Water
Washing white clothes in warm water is better as it helps remove sweat and dirt more effectively. However, always check the care label before washing. Delicate fabrics like silk or lace need to be washed in cold water.
Dry In The Sun
The sun is considered a natural bleach. Drying white clothes directly under the sunlight helps remove stains and lets them appear bright. Remember not to keep the whites outside for too long, as too much sun exposure can weaken the fabric.
