NITA MUKESH Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was inaugurated on March 31 on the occasion of Ram Navami in Mumbai. The center is located within the Jio World Centre in the Bandra-Kurla complex in Mumbai. The opening ceremony of NMACC was star-studded with top celebrities from Bollywood as well as Hollywood, including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, and many more. Here is all you need to know about the cultural hub, as per the reports, a dream come true by Nita and Mukesh Ambani.

At the opening ceremony, Founder Nita Mukesh Ambani said “The time has come to mark a new beginning for our longstanding commitment to art and culture. With immense joy, I am delighted to present to you the realisation of a life-long dream – the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. The NMACC is a space that hopes to bind the community through the common thread of the arts. It is a tribute to India’s glorious legacy, traditions, and heritage. For the last few years, my daughter Isha and I along with our team have immersed ourselves in this dream project.”

She further added, “The NMACC is envisioned as a platform to spotlight Indian arts and culture at its best, both for the audience and the artists. A truly inclusive centre for performers and visitors, for dreamers and creators, for one and all. With world-class infrastructure and robust programming, our aim is to make the arts accessible to everyone. An ode to our nation, the NMACC is our commitment to preserving and promoting Indian arts. I hope our spaces nurture and inspire talent, bringing people together from across India and the world.”

The Grand Theatre

The grand theatre of NMACC has customisable lighting, a world-class combined Dolby Atmos Surround Sound System, and a Virtual Acoustic System of 8,400+ Swarovski diamonds have been added to it.

The Studio Theatre

The studio theatre has a capacity of around 250 people, with a grand stage, an integrated Dolby Atmos Surround Sound System, an LED-driven theatrical lighting system, and assistive listening devices.

Dhirubai Ambani Square

It includes a lotus-inspired fountain of joy that adds to the beauty of the city of dreams.

Art House

The cultural centre also has an art house which is a four-storey, 16000 sq. ft. dedicated visual arts space displaying the works of international and Indian artists.
