Easy Ways To Debloat: All of us must have been through the feelings of overeating. When we get our favourite foods, we tend to overeat to satiate our taste buds, but the aftermath might be uncomfortable for the body. Overeating can cause stomach ache, and indigestion and affects the body’s ability to regulate hunger and contribute to weight gain. It can also affect your sleep cycle and may ruin your health as well. But don’t worry, there are remedies to ease bloating. Here are some easy and effective ways to debloat after overeating and promote overall wellness.
Easy Ways To Debloat After Overeating
Watch Your Portion Size
Watching your portion size while eating can help in preventing the disadvantages of overeating. Eating too much too quickly can result in digestive discomfort. Therefore, always avoid overeating when you are extremely hungry as it can lead to fast eating.
Take A Walk
According to WebMD, an easy stroll will help stimulate your digestion and even out your blood sugar levels. Or go for a leisurely bike ride instead. But don’t overdo it. A real workout could send the blood to your legs instead of your stomach, which could slow digestion.

If you feel bloated, do not drink chugs of water unnecessarily. You can drink one glass of water after a big meal to ease your digestive system. This can help your body to get rid of excess salt that you get from the food you eat and also prevent constipation.
Avoid Laying Down
Always avoid lying down after having big meals. If you immediately lay down after eating your food, this prevents your body from burning the calories that you just gained. Therefore, engage in some household chores or go on a walk to burn those calories and ease your digestion.
Workout
The WebMD states that after some time has gone by, work up a real sweat; run, lift weights, and play basketball. It’s best to wait at least 3 to 4 hours after a big meal. It will burn off some of those extra calories. It may also help jump-start your metabolism and prevent constipation. And regular exercise seems to help control mood and hunger so you’re less likely to overeat in the future.
