Yoga For Acid Reflux: Acid reflux or heartburn occurs when the sphincter muscle at the lower end of your oesophagus relaxes at the wrong time, allowing stomach acid to back up into your oesophagus. It causes a burning sensation which happens when stomach acid flows up to the oesophagus. Common symptoms of acid reflux include burning in the chest, sour taste, blood in stool, feeling the need to burp, non-stop hiccups, feeling sick, losing weight without trying, breathing problems etc. Practising yoga can be helpful in managing heartburn. Here are some easy-to-perform yoga poses that can help in getting relief from acid reflux.
