1. Trikonasana
Also known as the triangles pose, trikonasana is a pose where the performer stretches their legs apart without bending the knees, hands spread apart, to form a 90-degree angle between the upper and lower part of the body. The triangle pose promotes the flow of blood and oxygen throughout the body, by opening up lungs, chest and heart. This further helps the skin in rejuvenation and provides healthy, glowing skin.
2. Paschimottanasana
Popularly known as the seated forward bend pose, this yoga asana involves intense stretching of the legs and the back body. This yoga pose helps in relieving stress and anxiety, helps in purifying the blood and improves the skin complexion.
3. Adho Mukha Svanasana
Also known as the downward-facing dog pose, this is an inversion yoga asana, which is often practised with the following sequence of Surya Namaskar poses. It helps in stretching leg muscles, claves, hands and inner thighs and enhances blood supply to parts of the body. Practising this yoga pose regularly improves blood circulation and gives an even tone and radiant skin.
4. Halasana
The plough pose is one of the most effective yoga poses for overall health. It is an inverted yoga pose which stretches, strengthens and relaxes the body. It involves lying on your back and placing your feet on the floor behind your head. It helps you achieve healthy and glowing skin by getting rid of toxins in the body with better digestion.
