Audi Q9 Interior: Audi, the German automotive manufacturer, has unveiled its Audi Q9 flagship 7-seater SUV worldwide. The Q9 is the second 7-seater SUV by the brand, after the Q7, and it is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the second quarter of 2027 as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The Audi Q7 will rival the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, and it is priced at 1,08,400 Euro (approximately Rs 1.18 crore) excluding taxes and duties. Deliveries of the Audi Q9 will begin from November 2026 onwards for the international market.
Audi Q9: Exterior
The Audi Q9 follows the styling language followed by the brand’s new generation models. At the front, it gets a split headlight setup with sleek LED DRLs and Matrix LED headlamps. The headlamps feature micro-LEDs that can project warning symbols on the road surface. Additionally, it also features advanced turn signals that can project directions on the ground for other road users. The front fascia also incorporates a massive grille with illuminated vertical slats, and the brand’s logo also gets illumination. The front bumpers feature large air intakes, and the ADAS module is placed in the centre.
On the sides, it features soft-closing automatic doors, and the wheel sizes range from 20 to 23 inches. The brand offers grey brake callipers as standard, whereas customers can also opt for red brake callipers. At the rear, it features connected curved digital OLED taillights, and the brand’s logo also gets illumination. The rear bumper features a black section at the centre, and the SUV gets twin exhaust tips that enhance the SUV’s sporty character.

Audi Q9: Interior
The interior of the Audi Q9 was revealed recently, ahead of the flagship SUV’s official launch. The Q9 will be offered with a 7-seater configuration, and a 6-seater layout will also be offered as an option. The 6-seater iteration of the flagship SUV will feature captain chairs in the second row. The front section features sport seats with ventilation and massage functions, whereas all three rows of seats are electrically adjustable.
The brand has incorporated wooden trims to enhance premium appeal inside the cabin, and it gets a new dashboard with a three-screen layout featuring a 12.3-inch driver’s display, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch passenger display. The cabin of the Q9 also features a new four-spoke steering wheel with the brand’s 2D logo.
In terms of features, the Audi Q9 comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 22-speaker Bang and Olufsen speaker system, dual wireless chargers, USB Type-C charging ports, heated door and centre armrests, and more. In terms of safety, the Q9 features a Level 2 ADAS, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, automated parking assist, and Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus. The Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus supports partial automated driving on approved highways and autobahn sections at speeds of up to 130 km/h.

Audi Q9: Engine Specs
The Audi Q9 will be offered with the option of either a 3-litre V6 diesel engine or a 2.9-litre twin V6 turbo petrol engine. The V6 diesel engine is paired with an 8-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, and it generates 299 hp and 630 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is mated to a mild-hybrid system, and it also features the brand’s Quattro All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system. This engine will be offered in the German car market, and the brand will offer the same engine with a detuned version in the European market, which can generate peak power and torque output of 245 hp and 500 Nm, respectively.
In the US market, the brand will offer its flagship 7-seater SUV with the option of a 2.9-litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine that is paired with an 8-speed triptronic transmission, and also gets Quattro All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system. The engine is capable of generating a peak power and torque output of 429 hp and 599 Nm, respectively.
