Nissan MPV In India:  Nissan, the Japanese car manufacturer, is planning on strengthening its presence in the Indian automotive market by launching several key products. The brand has recently shared that it will be revealing an affordable MPV on December 18, 2025, in the country. Post launch, Nissan’s affordable 7-seater MPV will rival the likes of the Renault Triber in the country.

Nissan’s Upcoming Cars In India

Currently, Nissan offers only a compact SUV, the Magnite, in India. However, the brand is planning on strengthening its presence in the country, and the affordable 7-seater MPV is also a part of the strategy. In an exclusive interaction with the Jagran Hitech team, Saurabh Vats, Managing Director of Nissan India, had revealed the brand’s plans for India.

Nissan Tekton To Launch In 2026

Nissan is also planning on strengthening its position in the Indian market. In his exclusive interaction with Jagran Hitech, Saurabh also shared that the brand may soon launch a new C-segment SUV called ‘the Tekton’, along with a 7-seater MPV and SUV. The Tekton by Nissan shares its CMF-B platform with the upcoming Renault Duster. The brand has not yet revealed any details regarding the interior of the Nissan Tekton. However, the upcoming Nissan C-segment SUV in India is anticipated to feature a larger 10.1-inch touch screen infotainment system with a 7-inch fully digital driver’s display. We expect the Nissan Tekton to have a starting price of Rs 12.45 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
