Hero Motocorp Flex-Fuel Motorcycle: Hero Motocorp, the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, will likely be launching its first flex-fuel motorcycle in the country on June 3, 2026. The motorcycle will be launched in the presence of Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri. Notably, the Indian government is pushing for a higher Ethanol blend amidst global fuel supply chain disruption. Hero Motocorp’s First Flex Fuel Vehicle
The brand has not yet revealed the name or any details of its first flex-fuel motorcycle. However, as per reports, we can expect it to be one of the brand’s most popular motorcycles. We expect it to be either the Hero Splendor or the Hero HF Deluxe. The brand had showcased its first flex-fuel motorcycle at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and it was based on the HF Deluxe.

Hero Motocorp Flex-Fuel Vehicle: Ethanol Blend
As mentioned earlier, Hero Motocorp had showcased its first flex-fuel motorcycle prototype at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The motorcycle showcased by the brand was based on the Hero HF Deluxe bike, which is powered by a 100cc engine. The prototype showcased by the brand can run on an E85 fuel blend. This means that the bike can run on a fuel which is 15 per cent petrol and 85 per cent ethanol.
