Mahindra BE 6 Range:  The Mahindra BE 6 was introduced to the Indian market in 2024, and it has remained one of the most popular electric SUVs in the country. Notably, the BE 6 has also remained a significant product in the lineup as it has helped the brand secure second position in the Indian electric car market. As per several reports, the brand is expected to upgrade the Mahindra BE 6 with some new features. The updates will come in the form of a yearly model upgrade rather than a facelift. Let’s take a look at what kind of upgrades the brand is planning for the Mahindra BE 6.

Mahindra BE 6: New Features Incoming?

Notably, the brand launches its new models, reveals concept models, and announces its strategy on August 15 every year. It's going to be the same this year, and we expect the upgraded Mahindra BE 6 to be launched on the same day alongside the new Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift 2026 and Mahindra Vision S. As per reports, we expect that the BE 6 will get a new triple-screen display layout as the Mahindra XEV 9E and XEV 9S.

Along with this, the brand is also expected to make some ergonomic adjustments to the cabin, and a new interior theme is also anticipated. The outgoing BE 6 models come equipped with a dual-display setup, with each of the screens having a size of 12.3 inches, and they have a black and grey theme.

Mahindra BE 6: Same Powertrain

It remains to be seen whether the brand will introduce the above-mentioned upgrades as standard to all variants or if only the top-spec trims will be getting these upgrades. However, we expect the powertrain of the Mahindra BE 6 to remain unchanged. We expect the BE 6 to continue with the option of either a 59 kWh or a 79 kWh battery pack.

The smaller battery pack has a claimed range of 556 kilometres on a single charge. The larger 79 kWh battery pack, on the other hand, has a claimed range of up to 683 kilometres, once completely charged. The BE 6 by Mahindra is powered by an electric motor placed on the rear axle, which can generate a peak power and torque output of 286 hp and 380 Nm, respectively.
