Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric Video Review: The Mercedes-Benz CLA electric was recently unveiled in India. The debut of the CLA electric will mark the first time that the iconic CLA nameplate by Mercedes-Benz will be offered in an electric iteration. The official launch of the CLA electric is scheduled to happen in April 2026, and the bookings for the electric CLA have already begun in the country from March 10, 2026, onwards. Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric: Design
The Mercedes-Benz CLA electric features an overall similar contour to the previous generation model. However, it features star-shaped LED DRLs, a closed grille with lit stars, a star-shaped LED taillight, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The front bumper is redesigned, and it also features small air intakes.

Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric: Features
The Mercedes-Benz CLA electric is heavily-packed in terms of features. In India, the brand will offer the 250+ variant, which misses out on a triple-screen display. However, it features a 14-inch touchscreen display in the centre, OTA (Over The Air) updates, wireless charging, USB Type-C ports with 100W output, and a sporty steering wheel with mounted controls. In terms of safety, it features front, side, and central airbags and a Level-2 ADAS suite.

Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric: Range & Battery
The Mercedes-Benz CLA electric comes equipped with an 85 kWh battery pack, and it has a claimed WLTP range of 792 kilometres, once fully charged. The CLA electric can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds, thanks to the rear electric motors that can produce a peak power output of 272 hp. The CLA electric also supports up to 240 kW of DC fast charging, and the brand claims that 400 kilometres worth of charging can be done in under 20 minutes.
