Mercedes-Benz GLB EV: Mercedes-Benz, the renowned German luxury and performance car manufacturer, has confirmed the launch of the GLB electric SUV in the Indian market. The Mercedes-Benz GLB EV was introduced globally in December 2025, and it is built on the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform. The GLB EV is already sold in the international market, and it is offered in 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. Mercedes-Benz GLB EV India: Design
In terms of design, the Mercedes-Benz GLB EV remains identical to its ICE counterpart. An upright front and rear end, connected LED lighting, and squared wheel arches are some of the styling bits that are similar to the ICE GLB SUV. The electric iteration of the GLB EV features a closed grille at the front with multiple three-pointed illuminated stars and flush door handles.

Mercedes-Benz GLB EV: Interior & Features
As informed earlier, the Mercedes-Benz GLB EV is available in either a 5-seater or a 7-seater configuration. The global-spec GLB EV comes equipped with the brand’s MBUX screen with a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a 14-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, and a 14-inch touchscreen for the front passenger. Additionally, the GLB EV also comes equipped with a panoramic glass roof with opacity control, multi-mood ambient lighting, a Burmester audio system with Dolby Atmos, and a Level 2 ADAS Suite.

Mercedes-Benz GLB EV India: Range & Specs
The global spec of the GLB EV is offered in two variants: GLB 250+ and GLB 350 4Matic. The GLB 250+ variant is powered by a single motor that generates peak power and torque output of 272 hp and 335 Nm, respectively. The GLB 350 4Matic, on the other hand, is powered by a dual-motor setup, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 353 hp and 515 Nm, respectively. Both of these variants are powered by an 85 kWh battery pack, and the brand claims that the GLB 250+ can deliver up to 631 Km of range, once fully charged. The GLB EV supports up to 320 kW DC fast charging, and 10 minutes of charging is claimed to add 260 kilometres in range.
