Hyundai Bayon Launch Date In India:  Hyundai, the South Korean car manufacturer, is planning to launch two new SUVs in the country by the end of this year. One of these SUVs will be the Hyundai Bayon. While the brand has not confirmed a date for the official launch of the Bayon, several reports suggest that it is expected to launch in India on October 12. Hyundai Bayon Design

The brand recently shared images of the DRLs, Taillights, and alloy wheels of the upcoming Hyundai Bayon. The recent images shared by the brand show the sharp L-shaped LED DRLs, Taillights, and dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV is expected to feature split LED headlights placed below the DRLs. It also features L-shaped taillights that complement the LED DRLs at the front. The SUV is also expected to feature 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels on the sides. More details will be revealed as the launch nears.

Hyundai Bayon: Expected Features

The sketches of the interior of the Hyundai Bayon look close to the recently unveiled new-generation Hyundai i20. The Bayon is expected to come equipped with a slew of advanced features, including:

  • A three-spoke steering wheel with the four-dot Hyundai signature
  • A 360-degree camera
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Connected car technology
  • Level 2 ADAS

Hyundai Bayon: Expected Engine & Specs

As per media reports, the upcoming Hyundai Bayon-based SUV will also be offered with the option of a CNG powertrain. The Bayon-based SUV is expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Creta. The CNG-powered version of the Bayon-based SUV is expected to utilise the same engine, and it is expected to feature an underbody CNG tank. According to reports, the Bayon is expected to become the first-ever Hyundai model longer than 4 metres to feature a CNG powertrain. The Bayon will likely include a manual and CVT transmission for the petrol version, whereas the CNG-powered version will likely be offered with a manual and an automatic gearbox.
