Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Range:  “Not in a hurry to sell the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, experience matters more,” said Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, making it clear that India's largest carmaker is in no rush to chase electric vehicle volumes. He was speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the 200th Nexa Studio showroom in Kharkhoda, Haryana, a milestone that the company achieved in just 18 months. The automaker stepped into the EV space with the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, making the electric SUV it's first ever EV in India.

While many criticized Maruti Suzuki for joining the EV wave late, Banerjee has been clear about the idea of building confidence around charging, service readiness, and ownership experience rather than pushing dispatch targets. Maruti announced that they will have 1 lakh EV chargers by 2030 and has the biggest company pushed fast charging network in India. He said the company has been working to get fundamentals right, focusing on charging and service network.

As for the Nexa Studio, the choice of Kharkhoda for the 200th outlet reflects the brand’s growing focus on emerging markets beyond the usual metro strongholds. Banerjee underlined that Nexa Studio's rapid expansion is about deepening reach and elevating the retail experience, not just adding pin codes. Nexa Studio joins Nexa and Arena range of dealerships, making Maruti Suzuki the biggest automobile maker and also with the largest retail channel in India.

The Maruti Suzuki E Vitara comes with several advanced features, such as powered and ventilated seats at the front, a fully automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and more. In terms of safety, the first-ever electric Maruti car comes loaded with features such as 7-airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function, hill hold assist, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
