In June 2026, a total of 18,335 units of the Nexon were sold, and it recorded a year-on-year growth rate of 58.03 per cent. The Tata Nexon is available with multiple powertrain options, including a petrol engine, a diesel engine, a turbo-CNG engine, and an electric powertrain. The prices for the ICE Tata Nexon start from Rs 7.31 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the electric iteration of the SUV is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has lost its crown and has fallen to the third position in the June 2026 sales chart. A total of 17,899 units of Dzire were sold last month, and the compact sedan by the largest car manufacturer in India has recorded a year-on-year growth rate of 15.60 per cent. Currently, the Dzire is being sold in its fourth-generation guise in the domestic market, which was launched in 2024. The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R tallboy hatchback has secured the fourth position in the June 2026 sales chart. The current-generation Wagon R was introduced in India in 2019, and it has remained popular among Indian families. A total of 16,952 units of the Wagon R were sold in June 2026, and it registered a 31.11 per cent year-on-year growth.
