Tata Punch Facelift Video Review: The Tata Punch facelift was launched in India on January 13, 2026, and it has garnered significant attention ever since. The Punch facelift has also secured a 5-star safety rating in a crash test organised by Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). The Tata Punch facelift has received several major changes in terms of powertrain, features, and design. The Jagran Hitech team recently got a chance to put the Tata Punch facelift to the test, and here’s our video review of the same. Let’s take a look.

Tata Punch Facelift: Design
The Tata Punch facelift 2026 retains the overall silhouette of the current model on sale. The Tata Punch facelift gets sleek eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs and a piano black applique at the front. The LED headlights are vertically stacked below the DRLs and integrated into the front bumper. The front jumper has been redesigned, incorporating larger air intakes in the centre. On the sides, it gets a thick black body cladding and a new set of alloy wheels. On the rear, the hexagonal LED taillights are now connected by a light bar placed inside a black applique. The taillight now gets two-slats styling.

Tata Punch Facelift: Features
While it has received several major changes in terms of exterior and styling, it has also received some significant changes inside the cabin. The new Punch facelift 2026 features a dual-tone interior, a fully automatic climate control system, central control with armrest, touch-based HVAC panel, a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree surround view camera, a 10.25-inch touchscreen-based infotainment system, auto-dimming IRVM, and more.

Tata Punch Facelift: Engine Specs
The Punch facelift 2026 gets a new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine while retaining the same engine options that the earlier model used to come equipped with. The new 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 120 PS and 170 Nm, respectively. The new Punch facelift 2026 also offers a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which can be mated to a 5-speed MT or 5-speed AT gearbox, and it can generate a peak power and torque output of 87.8 PS and 115 Nm, respectively. The CNG fuel option is also available with the Punch facelift 2026, and it can generate 73.4 PS and 103 Nm torque.
