Tata Sierra EV First Look Video: Back in November 2025, Tata relaunched its legendary SUV nameplate, the Tata Sierra, in India. The brand had launched the ICE variant of the SUV at that time, and the launch of the Sierra EV was in the pipeline. Prototypes of the Sierra EV were spied on several occasions in the country, and its launch was much-awaited. The brand finally ended the wait and launched the Sierra EV in India on June 30, 2026. The Sierra EV comes packed with some of the most advanced features and a claimed range of up to 665 kilometres. The Jagran Hitech team got a chance to spend some time with the newly launched Tata Sierra EV, and here’s our video review of the same. Let’s take a look.

Tata Sierra EV: Interior & Features
The Sierra EV features a dual-tone interior theme with beige and dark grey shades. In terms of features, it comes equipped with a triple-screen setup, Level 2 ADAS, an air purifier, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a dual-climate control system, autonomous parking, and more.

Tata Sierra EV: Range & Specs
As mentioned earlier, the Tata Sierra EV will be offered with the option of either a 63 kWh or a 75 kWh battery pack. The Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) setup on the Sierra EV uses a single electric motor that generates 235 hp and 315 Nm of torque. The Quad-Wheel Drive (QWD) variant, on the other hand, generates a peak power and torque output of 305 hp and 504 Nm, respectively. The top-spec Empowered A trim with QWD can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. The 75 kWh battery pack has an MIDC range of 665 km, and the brand claims a real-world range of up to 530 kilometres.
