VinFast VF7 Safety: The VinFast VF6 and VinFast VF7 electric SUVs were launched in India in September 2025. Now, while the brand is planning on strengthening its position in the Indian market by launching several key products, the VinFast VF6 and the VinFast VF7 electric SUVs have secured 5-star safety ratings in crash tests organised by Bharat NCAP (BNCAP). Let’s take a look at the safety scores and safety features of the VinFast VF6 and VF7.
VinFast VF6 & VF7: Safety Ratings
The VinFast VF6 and VF7 have performed well in both of the core safety categories. The VF6 has secured 27.13 points out of a total of 32 points for the Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) category. The VF7, on the other hand, has secured 28.54 points out of a total of 32 points in the same category. In terms of Child Occupant Protection (COP), the VF6 has scored 44.41 out of a total of 49 points, whereas the VF7 has scored 45.25 points out of a total of 49 in the same category.

The VinFast VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs come loaded with a slew of safety features. Both of these SUVs come equipped with 7 airbags, Auto Lane Changing Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist, Front and Rear Automatic Emergency Brake, and Blind Spot Detection, to further enhance occupant safety.
