A pregnant woman, who was injured in a deadly attack by her husband, died during treatment on Friday. The incident took place in Ranipur Paswan Tola (ward no. 9), which is under the jurisdiction of the Sadar police station.
The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Vibha Kumari. She had been married for one year to Pramod Kumar Paswan.
The incident happened on Wednesday night after an argument broke out between the couple over some issue. The dispute escalated, and the husband, Pramod, allegedly picked up a digging tool (khanti) and attacked Vibha on her head, leaving her seriously injured.

Her family rushed her to DMCH (Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital) in critical condition. From there, doctors referred her to PMCH in Patna due to the severity of her injuries. She passed away during treatment at PMCH today.
The accused husband, Pramod Kumar Paswan, works as a farm laborer in the village. Police confirmed that the deceased, Vibha, was pregnant. In this matter, the Sadar police are in the process of filing an FIR (First Information Report) after recording the statement of the victim's father.
