Tej Pratap Yadav Rushed To Hospital In Patna Following Severe Stomach Pain; Discharged After Check-Up

Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, was admitted to Mediversal Hospital in Patna on Wednesday morning after severe stomach pain. Doctors examined and treated him for approximately two and a half hours. Test reports revealed no serious issues, and his condition was described as normal. He has been prescribed medication and advised to take special dietary precautions.

Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and chief of the Janshakti Janata Dal, was rushed to the emergency ward of Mediversal Hospital in Kankadbagh, Patna, on Wednesday morning. He was admitted following complaints of severe stomach pain.

Medical Examination And Treatment

Tej Pratap arrived at the hospital around 11:00 am. Due to persistent pain, he sought immediate medical attention. A team of doctors conducted a detailed examination to determine the cause of the discomfort.

- Dr Marachi Ranjan performed the initial check-up.

- Dr Piyush conducted an ultrasound scan.

The medical team spent approximately two and a half hours treating and testing him. Fortunately, the test reports did not indicate any serious issues, and doctors described his condition as currently normal. He was prescribed medication and advised to strictly follow specific dietary precautions. Physicians stated there is no cause for alarm, though rest is necessary.

Previous Visit Clarified

Reports indicate that Tej Pratap had also visited Mediversal Hospital on Tuesday night. However, that visit was to see another patient. On Wednesday, he returned to the facility as a patient himself.

Discharge And Statement

Upon his discharge, Tej Pratap was seen leaving the hospital wrapped in a woollen shawl with a thick muffler tied around his head, suggesting he had not yet fully recovered. speaking briefly to the media, he confirmed that he was feeling better and intended to follow the doctors' advice.

New Year Wishes Despite his illness

Tej Pratap took the moment to share his thoughts on the upcoming year. He stated that the New Year 2026 would be good for everyone and extended his best wishes to his brothers, relatives, family members, and the people of Bihar.

News of his sudden illness initially caused concern among his supporters and well-wishers, but the doctors' assurance regarding his stable condition has since brought relief. He is now resting at home.
