Adani Group Stocks Today: The shares of Adani Group firms were trading in positive territory after the report surfaced claiming that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission settled a civil lawsuit against Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani.
According to a Reuters report, the settlement is subject to court approval.
According to media reports, Gautam Adani has agreed to pay a $6 million civil penalty, while his nephew, Sagar Adani, has agreed to pay $12 million, court documents show. The proposed settlement does not appear to include a plea bargain, news reports said.

Adani Enterprises: Shares of Adani's flagship firms inched up more than 2 per cent in early trade following the development. Last seen, Adani Enterprises shares were trading at Rs 2,763.60, up Rs 50 or 1,87 per cent.
Adani Ports Share Price: The shares of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone were trading higher in early trade. At the time of writing, Adani Ports were trading at Rs 1,812.70, up Rs 39.30 or 2.22 per cent.
Adani Total Gas Share Price: The shares of Adani Total Gas inched higher in early trade after the news surfaced. Last seen, the Adani Total Gas stock was trading at Rs 621.35, up Rs 8.75 or 1.44 per cent.
Allegations
The US SEC previously alleged that Gautam Adani, Sagar Adani, and others operated a bribery scheme between 2020 and 2024 to secure solar energy contracts in India, totalling more than $250 million.
On April 8, the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York granted a request from lawyers representing Gautam and Sagar Adani for a pre-motion conference to dismiss the case.
