LPG cylinder will now be delivered on quick commerce, meaning you can order a cylinder from the app on your phone and it will be delivered in minutes--like other essentials are being delivered to your doorstep. Instamart, Swiggy's e-commerce platform, has announced a partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to deliver LPG cylinders.
Under the agreement, Instamart will deliver HPCL's newly launched 10 kg mixed LPG cylinder, 'HP Navya'.
Bengaluru: The First Stop
The service will be launched first in Bengaluru, where customers can order HP Navya. A 5 kg metallic LPG cylinder will also be available.
The quick commerce platform said that one does not require an existing household LPG connection to order one, making it a flexible, on-demand option for a wide customer base, including students, working professionals and small families.

10 Kg and 5 Kg Cylinder Can Be Ordered
Customers can log in to Instamart, select their preferred 10 kg mixed LPG cylinder or 5 kg metallic LPG cylinder, add it to their cart and place an order. First-time buyers will be treated as if they were buying a new cylinder.
Later, the customer can return the empty HPCL cylinder at the time of delivery and place an order for a refill.
Orders are fulfilled through HPCL’s authorised distributor network and delivered by the distributor’s trained personnel under applicable safety and regulatory protocols. To ensure a safe, complete and traceable experience, identity verification is required for first-time orders, and proof of delivery is included in the process.
