Paytm Q4 Result:  The Paytm brand's parent company, One97 Communications, reported a comprehensive loss of Rs 550 crore, according to the company's regulatory filing on Wednesday. The company suffered a loss of Rs 167.5 crore in the same period a year ago. Paytm's revenue from operations declined 2.8 percent to Rs 2,267.1 crore in the same quarter of FY23 from Rs 2,464.6 crore in the same quarter of FY23.

The company's loss was reduced to Rs 1,422.4 crore for the year ending March 31, 2024. Paytm reported a loss of Rs 1,776.5 crore in FY23. Paytm's annual revenue grew by nearly 25 percent from Rs 7,990.3 crore in FY2023 to Rs 9,978 crore in FY2024.

The Reserve Bank of India has barred Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL) from accepting deposits, credit transactions, or top-ups to any customer accounts, wallets, and Fastag with effect from March 15, keeping in mind the interests of merchants and other customers. Paytm had estimated a loss of Rs 300-500 crore due to the RBI ban on PPBL.

Meanwhile, at around 10:26 am, Shares of One9 Communication were trading at 346.20, down over 1.5 percent at NSE. The 52-week high of the stock is 998.30, and the 52-week low is 310. The stock has suffered a massive loss this year after RBI put restrictions on its Paytm Payment Bank in January. In the last 30 days, Paytm stock has dipped over 9 percent, In the last 12 months it has been slipped over 50 percent.
