A mutual fund is a preferred investment tool among a set of investors who have a goal to accumulate a large corpus in a long-term investment set-up. Whether you are an aggressive investor having more risk appetite, you want a mix of risk and balance, or you have a low risk appetite, mutual fund houses offer numerous schemes depending on investors need. Hybrid Mutual Fund schemes are one of those many categories that allow investors to invest in a mix of equity and debt instruments. Additionally, some hybrid funds also offer exposure to investment in commodities--Gold and Silver.

If you are looking to start an investment journey with Hybrid schemes, then you should do thorough research about schemes and initiate investing in one that aligns with your risk appetite--in terms of allocation to equity, debt or other--and your goal.
