IPL 2026: Punjab Kings star pacer Arshdeep Singh ignited a huge buzz online after abruptly wiping more than 200 posts from his official Instagram account and swapping his profile photo. Fans spotted that he erased the viral Champions Trophy 2025 reel featuring Virat Kohli, which amassed 150 million views.

He has refused to disclose the exact reason for taking this action. Still, speculation swirls that he aims to reset and polish his social media accounts or launch a rebranding strategy.

Shunning all online speculation, he preserved every Punjab Kings-related post, anchoring it in his bio. His remaining posts now showcase family moments, athletic milestones, and brand endorsements.

This latest update surfaced after Arshdeep grappled with multiple controversies during the ongoing season. He endured fierce criticism for uttering a racial comment to Tilak Varma before their match against the Mumbai Indians.

He was also heard saying, "Oye andhere, sunscreen lagaya."

Ex-India cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan also criticized the star fast bowler and said, "Nobody believed me. Everyone mocked and trolled me. Arshdeep should be banned for the rest of this season and paid on a pro rata basis. The players today should be hit where it hurts the most."

He also revealed, "If BCCI takes action, I will name people who racially abused me".

Arshdeep's aggressive response to a fan on Snapchat and his disappointing run this year, with just 14 wickets in as many matches and a poor economy rate, further threaten the Punjab Kings' playoff chances.
