The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has again formally communicated to the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday and emphasised security concerns about coming to India for the mega event. They repeated their request to change their venue to Sri Lanka.
The T20 World Cup is all set to start from February 7, where Bangladesh will be playing all their matches in Kolkata and one in Mumbai.
Bangladesh doesn't want to travel to India after star fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman was let go from the IPL as per the BCCI rules.

“Following discussions with sports ministry advisor Asif Nazrul, the BCB has once again sent a communication to the ICC. The ICC wanted to know areas of security concern, and BCB has cited them," a BCB source was quoted as saying to PTI.
But the details of this letter weren't revealed.
This news came at a time when their discussions were already held between the BCB and the ICC about Bangladesh's participation. The ICC hasn't reacted much and has asked about the exact nature of these security concerns.

It should be noted here that the BCB itself isn't sure about this issue.
While a few members of the board are in favour of Nazrul's ruling, and the others are open to discussing this with the ICC. They have asked for a foolproof security arrangement for the whole team till the time they are in India.
Nazrul, who has often slammed India, has a more uncompromised opinion and has ruined BCB's cordial relationship with BCCI.
After Mustafizur was snubbed from the IPL, the minorities were attacked in Bangladesh.
The ICC is in no mood to change Bangladesh's venues from Kolkata and Mumbai to Sri Lanka.
But the BCB has revealed that the ICC is interested in working with them on their security concerns.
