SRH came up with an exceptional batting effort once again as they registered their third 250-plus score of this season.
Records got aligned to be broken as SRH registered the fourth-highest total in the IPL history with their two totals already remaining in the top two.
Notably, they had scored 287/3 in their 20 overs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, recording the highest-ever total in the history of the IPL earlier this season.

After being put into bat first, SRH had openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head dealing in boundaries for fun as they unleashed an absolute carnage on DC bowlers.
Both the batters smashed respective half-centuries as SRH registered the highest-ever score inside the powerplay in the IPL history, scoring 125 runs in the first six overs.
The visitors also smashed the fastest-ever team hundred in the history of the IPL.
While Abhishek scored 46 off just 12 balls on the back of two fours and six sixes, Travis Head smashed 89 runs in 32 deliveries with the help of 11 fours and six sixes.
"I think we were targeting more than that after the first 6 overs but really happy with the team. There was a message to assess the wicket today and I think Travis did really well in that today. It’s always been a pleasure since day 1, I’ve been telling him that I’ve been a big fan of him from day 1. We’re lucky he’s in our team. There’s no pressure from the other end so I can just go out and express myself. (About being ready to bowl) I’m always ready, waiting to go out there," Abhishek Sharma said at the mid-innings break.
On the other hand, it was a nightmare outing for DC bowlers with Kuldeep Yadav picking up four wickets whereas Mukesh Kumar and Axar Patel took a wicket each as well.
