Samson Reaches Career-Best Points Tally

Sanju Samson is another batter who soared in the rankings after climbing 18 spots to 22nd and reaching a career-best 637 points. It was a fitting response for someone made to wait for their chance and then seized it decisively.

In three must-win matches against West Indies, England, and New Zealand, he scored 97 and 89. His ability to excel under pressure made him the tournament's most valuable player.
